Road trip vacation 09

This is the start of this years vacation. The boys and I are headed to several minor league games this summer. Jess stayed at home with her mom to spend time with her alone.

We took Isabella and Peyton who are Lynn's niece and nephew back to Jackson, Mississippi on our way to Canton,MS. We will relax and take it easy on their farm for a few days.

We will drive into Pearl,MS to catch our first minor league game Atlanta Braves AA team Monday evening.

Kids all loaded up and ready to go. Even Pickle is down by Peyton feet. (Pickle is Payton pet Iguana) During the trip he didn't bark once.
Cousins Matt and Grant say goodbye. Matt you look a little to happy they are leaving.
It's 1am in the morning and I saw this bum getting ice in Canton.

It's a cool machine. You put a $1.50 in it and it spits out a 16lbs bag of crushed ice. The second one is shooting out of the machine if you look close.

oh that bum is my son Jacob. LOL Looks like he is having a blast.
Next morning playing video games right before we head out for breakfast. We will hit Walmart on out way back for a few groceries.

Jacob wanted to stop and look at this caboose thing in Madison. It was pretty cool.

Awhhhhhhhhh, brother actually getting along. Cam had to hold Streamer beanie baby we got in Tyler,TX in a happy meal yesterday.

LOL, who is this? Ha!

Here are some old pictures. LOL, some good laughs. I think this is 2004.

Sadie, here is your mommy and daddy before we cleaned them up.

Bad hair day!
Big John and sheriff Paco.

Well, couldn't decide if I was a caveman or Tarzan. Deanna is Wilma?

Sheriff Paco caught the little Indian girl as the ware wolf sneaks up from behind. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Nothing has changed much. LOL

Here is a picture of Jacob and Jess in 02 (I think) back in Houston many moons ago.

Here is Jacob and Jess 08 in Cedar Hill. Not much has changed. LOL Ok maybe a little.

Cubs 2004 Season

This was a picture of the Cubs team 2004 given to me for coaching the season. I think I was speechless when they gave this to me. It's a pretty awesome gift from the families. This team is no longer together and many continue to play. I can't thank you enough for this gift :)

Wine tasting event 1st time for me

Lynn and Kim had went to a event for breast cancer and bid on a wine tasting and Lynn won the bid and got to bring up to 20+'s friends. It was a nice experience if your into wine. For me it tasted sour and smelled like rotten cheese. There was a couple of wines I liked but could not tell you the name of them. I did learn how to store it and how to serve it. I have me a cheat sheet at home so I know which kind to buy for my dinners. But for now I will stick to my good ole Dr. Pepper :)
Frankie and Frank are just relaxing before the taste of the wines begin.

The group enjoys the wine's. Ann is trying to hide.

Everyone smiles after round number ? who knows.

The group had a great time. Not sure how many bottles everyone bought.

Ok, I have been very lazy and have not updated my blog. I can't give any other excuse. I will check my picture to see if any new ones have been downloaded. Hope everyone is well. The kids are doing well. Baseball season is up and going and I have missed 3 games already. What a shocker.
