DFW NABA 28A Fall Champions

Those of you that know me know that I play baseball. I love the game of baseball. I have been playing in this league since 1996. Started out with a team that slapped players together and struggled for a few years called the Threat. Then I played for a team the Rangers and after new management changed the name to the Indians. We are a bunch of guys playing for the love of the game. Some of us have been together for 10plus years. We enjoy it every year.

This year 2008 we finished 2nd place in the spring and got knocked out in the playoffs.

This fall we finished up 3rd and won the championship.

Tyson on the hill for the Championship game 28A division. I was catching. Tyson and I have been battery partners in 4 Championship games.

Finally get a solid hit after 4 at bats. A 4 for 4 day is not bad.

Watch out Willie!

Here Bo slides in at home after a hit. Jonni plate umpire was on top of it and called him safe.

We celebrate after the game is over for the teams 5 Championship game. 4 under the Indians name.

Fall 2008 Indians 28A Division Champions.

Here are the longest team members. Joe-4, Tyson-4, Steve-5 (guess he forgot 1) and Kenny-3 Championships.

Zahradnik and Salas. Tyson went to Sam Houston high school like I did and was a pitcher for them. And we all know my story.
Jessica and dad. Jess thank you for being here. I love you.

Jacob and dad. Thanks for being here. I love you.

Cam and dad. I love you.

We had a great fall season. I was on the disable list for the last 4 games with a leg injury. I was glad to be ready to play the final game. This was my best season finishing with a .625 batting Avg. I will have to say I will remember this one for a long time. Going 4-4 with 1 RBI and 1- (2-4 Pick off). Thanks Tritt for staying with that tag. Thanks to all my friends and family for being there. Thanks for taking pictures Lynn. Terry thank for not breaking any of my wood bats.
